19th February 2011

Heatwave has abated, but it is still warm and humid. Cut the grass both front and back this morning.

On Wednesday, had lunch at the Summit Restaurant situated on the 48th floor of the Australia Plaza building on George Street. The Summit is a revolving restaurant, and takes 1 hour to complete a full 360. Great views of Sydney and surrounds. Food is on the expensive side +/- $70 per head - starters and main excluding desert and drinks.

Flew to Canberra on Thursday morning, instead of staying at the usual hotels in Canberra, I stayed at a Motel in Queanbeyan. Queanbeyan is a small country town South East of Canberra. The projects offices are located in an office park close to the Canberra airport. Canberra, humidity levels are lower than Sydney making higher temperatures  more bearable.

Thursday, evening went out with the project team to Walsh's in Queanbeyan, and had Tasmanian Wallaby shanks for dinner. The meat is a bit stringy and not as fatty as lamb. Back there next week
