




Today, I have photographed some interesting Icicles formations (five in all). The snow begun to melt today, although more snow is forecast for Tuesday evening.
Photo 1: Fingerlike Icicles - Shot using a flash (diffused), Aperture f/8, Shutter speed 1/180, ISO 100 using an Olympus E-510 camera with a 40-150mm F4.0-5.6 lens
Photo 2: Icicles with water droplet - shot using a flash. Aperture f/8, Shutter speed 1/100, ISO 100 using the same camera and lens as Photo 1.
Photo 3: Icicles on a flower container - shot using a flash. Aperture f/8, Shutter speed 1/180, ISO 200 using the same camera and lens as Photo 1.

Photo 5: Icicles forming on the lip of snow protruding from the garage roof. Photographed with no flash. Aperture f/5.6, Shutter Speed 1/200, ISO 100, using the same camera as Photo 1, but a different lens. In this instance, 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
